Senior Payton Keating, Senior Aron McClintock, Junior Joseph Phetmixay, Junior Chris Ledbetter, and Junior Carter Mason all passed the FAA Part 107 Exam
The Uwharrie Charter Academy High School’s Drone Program had a huge week. Five students set out to become professionally licensed drone pilots by taking the FAA Part 107 exam. Students took their exam at an accredited testing center in either Greensboro or Winston Salem. After the two hour exam, all five students emerged successful!
