Registration for Summer Driver's Ed Classes now open

The summer driver's ed book portion classes are now open for registration. You will need to click the link below and this will re-direct you to the page where you will register your child. UCA will not register for you. You will need to signup under ANY Randolph County High School of your preference (please click on the specific high school) then complete the registration.
Please read over all the information provided through the Driver's Ed link.

Please note that taking a class over the summer will allow your child to complete this portion in less time than taking it in the fall. Also, if your child is planning to play a sport in the fall/winter your child should plan on taking it over the summer. If you chose to wait your child could risk getting their permit/license late as most coaches do not allow their athletes to miss a month of season to take this course.

If you have trouble accessing the link please go to scroll to the bottom and in the "Quick Link" section select Driver's Education option and follow the steps to register.

UCA 8th Grader recognized for her outstanding Artwork

Congratulations to UCA 8th grader, Eleanor Shropshire-Smith. She was recognized as 1 of 16 students that will have their artwork hanging year round in the passage way between the General Assembly building and NCDPI in Raleigh. Randolph Co. Representatives: Pat Hurley, Allen McNeill, and Senator Jerry Tillman stopped by to meet Eleanor and view her work. Eleanor and her family also got a great history lesson upstairs as they looked down into the House and Senate. The red carpet was also opened for them to take photos .....which apparently they only do for very special occasions. Eleanor was presented with a sketchbook and certificate. Her work was framed for hanging and on display for everyone enjoy. UCA is very proud of your awesome work!
